2558In the course of growing up - Im the youngest of six children - this was our family motto, Kathryn says in her audio clip.
My dad would always say this to us. When we came back from an exam or test, we would be worried and we would say: Oh I think Ive failed.
And he would say: Have you done your best? Your best is always enough. If youve always done your best, then what more can you do?
Its particularly appropriate for me at the moment because my children are both doing exams. Theres so much stress going on for them, and this is what I say.
Its something all my siblings take with us, that if you do your best in life then youve done the utmost and you cant do any better."
